Trading desk & mastermind community
Trade it like chess,
not roulette.
Mastermind Algo Trader is a small, accountable desk for traders who’d rather review a losing trade honestly than chase a winning streak loudly. Strategy calls, position-by-position signals, and a curriculum built on risk first.

Lead, the desk
Notes from the head trader
I lost more on my first “sure thing” than I want to admit, which is exactly why this desk exists.
Mastermind Algo Trader started as a private spreadsheet shared between four traders who were tired of trading alone and reviewing nothing. It’s grown into a desk of a few hundred members, but the discipline hasn’t changed: every position gets a thesis, a stop, and a post-mortem, win or lose.
We cover equity indices, a short list of liquid FX pairs, and major crypto — never more markets than we can actually watch. If you’re looking for guaranteed returns or a signal to blindly copy, this isn’t that desk. If you want a community that treats trading like a craft, keep reading.
What’s inside
Three desks, one membership.
Each part of the membership does one job. Together, they cover the full loop: learn, decide, review.
DESK
The Mastermind
A standing group of traders who show up, share open positions, and take feedback on their process.
- Weekly live strategy call, recorded for replay
- Trade review threads — bring a position, get pushback
- Private channel capped at a few hundred members
SIGNAL
The Signal Desk
Trade ideas posted with the reasoning attached, not just an entry and a hope.
- Entry, stop, and target on every idea — no exceptions
- The thesis behind the trade, in plain language
- A follow-up note when the trade closes, either way
CURRICULUM
The Curriculum
Structured lessons for traders who already know the basics and want to fix what's actually costing them money.
- Position sizing & risk modules — the unglamorous part
- Reading price action without the indicator clutter
- Trading psychology, written by people who've blown an account
How we review
A page from the desk journal.
Every signal gets logged and reviewed afterward — this is the format, with illustrative entries.
These entries are illustrative examples of our review format, not a verified or audited performance record. Trading involves substantial risk of loss. Past results, real or illustrative, are not indicative of future performance.
From the desk channel
What members say after the first quarter.
“I'd been trading for two years and never once written down why I took a trade. The journal format alone fixed that.”
JORDAN T. — Full Member since 2024
“The signals are useful, but it's the Friday review calls that actually changed how I size positions.”
PRIYA N. — Full Member since 2025
“No one promised me a yacht. They promised a process, and that's what I got.”
DEV M. — Associate since 2025

Questions worth asking.
No. Mastermind Algo Trader provides education, commentary, and trade ideas for informational purposes. Nothing here is personalized financial advice, and you're responsible for your own decisions and risk.
Most members spend 3–5 hours a week: the live call, a read of the signal notes, and time reviewing their own trades. You can get value from less, but the curriculum assumes some weekly commitment.
Major equity indices, a short list of liquid FX pairs, and large-cap crypto. We deliberately don't cover everything — narrow focus is part of the discipline.
This desk is built for traders who already understand the basics — order types, what a stop-loss is — and want to fix process and discipline. It's not a from-scratch beginner course.
Every tier starts with a 14-day trial, and you can cancel from your account at any time with no questions asked.
